Congratulations to our Year 9 cohort, who today close the curtain on Junior School, and will join their peers in Senior School in 2024. The students were treated to a fitting celebration earlier this week, where they had the opportunity to reflect on their growth over the past three years, celebrate friendships, and look ahead to their most important schooling years with confidence.
Junior School Leader Parishi summed up the sentiment of the event nicely:
"2023 – what a year it’s been! From Love Week celebrations and House events to finally witnessing the Class of 2023 graduate, realising that we are one step closer to that," she said.
"In just three years, we will all be walking on the stage one-by-one receiving our Graduation certificates. So, enjoy these last moments of Junior School to the fullest, because in six weeks, when we start another school year, we will finally be wearing that white shirt!"
Thank you to our very special guest speaker John Maume from Benarrawa Community Development Association for your inspiring words, along with our student panellists and Student Leaders, and the dedicated team of Corinda staff who worked so hard behind the scenes to host this memorable lunch.Enjoy a well-deserved break Year 9!
