Our Year 10 students had the opportunity to meet Queensland Education Minister John-Paul Langbroek MP while completing their Active Volunteering hours at Brisbane Central State School’s 150th anniversary celebrations.
Over the course of a weekend, students dedicated more than 15 hours of service assisting with set-up, supporting activities throughout the day, and helping with pack-up as part of their Certificate II in Active Volunteering. Their commitment and enthusiasm were recognised by many, showcasing the positive impact Corinda students make within the wider community.
