Industry experts and employers shared their valuable career insights and supported students to discover career pathways at our second annual Future Agent Day.
Over the course of the event, our Year 11 students were given the opportunity to listen to industry panels spread across the fields of protective services, construction and trade, professional services, creative industries, medical, and business management.
They were encouraged to ask questions and learn about career growth, job expectations, and how personal skills and fields of interests can evolve over time. Students also heard from Jobs Queensland and The University of Queensland's 'Making your Move' presentation.
A sincere thank you to each and every one of our 40+ panellists for taking the time out of their busy work week to guide the next generation entering the workforce, and also our school sponsors in attendance on the day: Motorama Mitsubishi Moorooka, Bank of Queensland Sherwood, Harcourts Marketplace Oxley, Bailey Print Group, and The Lion Richlands.
A Senior Schooling initiative, Future Agent Day showcases how the faculty works with employers to source work experience and future employment opportunities for our students.
