At the Academic Awards of Excellence for 2024, we bid farewell to last year's theme Secrets of the Sea and embraced a new journey with A Galaxy of Possibilities. The evening was filled with excitement as we celebrated the incredible achievements of our Class of 2024 graduates, who have set a new standard for academic excellence. A special congratulations to Samara Huynh, our Dux of the School, for achieving an outstanding ATAR of 99.5, and Hannah Mitchell, recipient of the prestigious QCE Excellence Award.
The night was illuminated by vibrant performances, including an unforgettable showcase from our Drumline, Choir, Dance Troupe, and Instrumental Music students. We also recognised the achievements of our special award recipients:

Executive Principal Ross Bailey shared his inspiring thoughts, stating:
"At Corinda, we don’t measure success by rankings, but by the growth of each individual. We take pride in providing the opportunities for each student to reach their full potential, knowing that true success is measured by the unique journey of every explorer. As our students prepare to launch into 2025, they are ready to navigate the cosmic mysteries of a Galaxy of Possibilities. In true Corinda fashion, they will embrace the unknown, showing resilience and adaptability as they venture into uncharted space."
The evening was topped off with some great lucky door prizes, adding an extra layer of excitement to an already unforgettable night.
