Senior student set to shine at global games

Congratulations to Year 12 student Rezwan Mohammed who has been selected to compete at the World Transplant Games in Perth later this year. The global sporting event is a celebration of a second chance of life, demonstrating the success of transplant surgery and promoting the need to raise public awareness of organ and tissue donation.

“I became a Transplant Athlete after undergoing a kidney transplant in 2020. I am so excited to be representing my country in badminton and table tennis at the event. This opportunity will allow me to continue leading an active and healthy lifestyle whilst raising awareness and promoting the benefits of organ donation. I also want to give thanks to my donor for my second chance of life!” said Rezwan.
