Corinda State High School came together for a special assembly to celebrate Year 11 student Ellen M, who is preparing to represent Australia in archery at the Youth Olympic Games!
With staff dressed in green and gold, Ellen received a heartfelt school farewell, including a special video message featuring students, staff and Corinda alumna Natalie Cook OAM OLY, a five-time Olympian and supporter of our Elite Athlete Program.
We were also thrilled to welcome Olympic rower and bronze medallist Ria Thompson, who shared her journey to the Tokyo and Paris Olympic Games, including how she balanced elite training with high school studies.
