A key feature of the school is the priority given to the five foreign language programs on offer and the very successful International Program. Students have the opportunity to engage with International students through hosting study tours and by participating in overseas study tours. Retention rates in Language Programs exceed the national targets for students undertaking language programs.
The comprehensive Pastoral Care Program is committed to developing student and staff wellbeing reflecting the need to respond to societal wellbeing and national trends. This program is based on Positive Education and is embedded in a vertical house system. The student Leadership Program is a unique feature and every student graduates with a Certificate II in Active Volunteering. The developmental program provides opportunities for students to develop their leadership potential as the school believes this is an important attribute to develop in addition to academic success.
