On Monday we marked ANZAC Day with a moving ceremony attended by dignitaries from the Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) and Sherwood-Indooroopilly RSL Sub-Branch Inc.
Young leaders including School Captain and AAFC Catafalque Party Commander, CUO Sienna Head, led the school in a poignant service that honoured the memory of those who fought in the First World War and all conflicts since.
Special guests from Harcourts Marketplace Oxley, BOQ Sherwood and the P&C Association laid student-made wreaths alongside school leaders before the sounding of the Last Post and observance of a minute’s silence.
Thank you to all who attended, and also joined us representing Corinda State High School at the various community services on Tuesday.
