Year 7 Football Excellence student Fletcher was one of the first athletes to take advantage of the on-campus triage clinic. Nursing a foot injury as a result of the return to intensive training after a long off-season, Fletcher had his injury
assessed and received advice on how to best proceed with his rehabilitation.
Fletcher’s mum Amanda was pleased that the injury could be assessed quickly and effectively.
“Being able to access the clinic at Fletcher’s school has saved us time, and money,” she said. “It’s also saved Fletcher a lot of the mental stress, athletes can experience when waiting for a diagnosis.”
The clinic is open to Elite Athletes, Dance, Tennis and Football Excellence students and operates every Wednesday in the Sports Centre. Students can book appointments online and parents are welcome to attend.
