At Corinda State High School, we value the important role our families play as partners in supporting student success and building a strong, connected community.

The purpose of the Corinda Supporters is to strengthen our school community by creating meaningful opportunities for parents and carers to actively support school life. Through this group, we aim to enhance the experiences of our students, provide practical support to staff, and build a strong network of families who contribute to the success and spirit of our school.

As events and projects arise, we will reach out to the Corinda Supporters to seek support. This may be through a simple expression of interest form or, at times, a short meeting to coordinate upcoming activities. We anticipate only a small number of meetings across the year, and all involvement is entirely voluntary and flexible.

To support key areas of the school, the Corinda Supporters will include sub-groups focused on:

  • The Arts
  • Sport
  • Agriculture  (the farm
  • Whole School Initiatives

There are many ways you may choose to be involved, including but not limited to:

  • Supporting BBQs and school events
  • Assisting with team uniform washing
  • Helping at sporting events (e.g. scoring)
  • Supporting excursions
  • Assisting with agricultural activities such as caring for animals
  • Contributing to working bees and garden projects
  • Supporting classroom initiatives
  • Assisting with concerts, including backstage and equipment movement

register your interest in supporting our school by clicking the link on the right. You will be updated as new opportunities arise.
