Thank you to everyone who joined us for our inaugural all-school Mother's Day event last Friday afternoon. We were delighted to welcome over 100 special mums, grandmothers, mother figures, and their children.
Highlighting the event was our special guest, Marice Schloss, a cherished member of the Corinda community. Marice has played various roles within our school, from staff member to P&C President for nearly a decade. As a parent to six Corinda High alumni and grandmother to a current student, her words resonated deeply with the audience, evoking both inspiration and emotion.
We're grateful to our school sponsor, The Lion Richlands, for generously donating three Lucky Door Prizes for families to enjoy.
This event was preceded by another heartfelt celebration earlier in the day. Our Year 8 and 9 Culinary Excellence students prepared a feast fit for queens during the Mother's Day High Tea in the Kitchen Garden. Their sweet and savory creations delighted the taste buds and provided a culinary journey like no other.
Special thanks to the incredible SIFT team for assisting the students in bringing their culinary dreams to life, and to all the remarkable women who attended and supported our budding culinary stars.
