Five in a row at the Royal Brisbane Show!

​​Corinda has claimed its fifth consecutive Tidy Pens Competition Championship at the Ekka, finishing on 1125 points and well clear of second place.

The Tidy Pens Competition at the Ekka is a prestigious event where schools showcase their agricultural displays. Corinda State High School has won this competition for several years, demonstrating their commitment to maintaining clean and attractive displays. The competition not only evaluates the presentation of the pens but also assesses how well the students engage with the public. This event highlights the dedication of students in agricultural education and their ability to represent their schools positively at the Royal Queensland Show.​

Throughout the week, students and staff represented Corinda in competitions, performances and events at the Ekka, including the Grand Parade, livestock judging, Farm of the Future and performances from the Corinda Cavaliers Drumline.

Corinda results included first place awards for Sarah F and the Corinda High Ekka Team, second place results for Lucas, Lara and Alice, reserve placings for Cooper and Hudson, and highly commended awards for Mia, San​ne, Eve and Hudson.

Our Farm of the Future team also took on one of the Ekka’s design challenges, creating a technically ambitious project with a working Minecraft recreation.
