Our Deans of Students are an initial touchpoint for students and families, overseeing the general wellbeing, behaviour and engagement of all students in their 2 year levels.
These roles transition with cohorts each year, so that a student’s dean stays with them throughout their schooling journey.
The Dean of Students in also responsible for:
- cohort events, such as formal and semi-formal
- team building and culture within the year level
- recruitment for student leadership positions
- addressing behaviours, both proactively and reactively
- facilitating the implementation of restorative practices, such as small group mediation
- organising targeted whole-cohort or small group programs to promote all aspects of wellbeing.
