Golden Opportunity Days

Unfortunately, no. Payments are required to be made in person at our payments window. Payments can be made to the payments office either on the morning of the activity or in advance. The payments office is located up the stairs off Pratten Street and is open from 8:00 am – 1:30 pm on school days.

Registration is from 8:30 am – 8:45 am at the Backstage Brew Cafe (enter via Gate 1 on Lynne Grove Avenue). Please note there will be no supervision provided until 8:30 am. The day will commence at 8:45 am. You are welcome to wait with your child until 8.45 am if you wish and ask any questions to the Deputy Principal in charge of Excellence Programs at this time.

Students are required to wear full school uniform unless otherwise specified by the program.

Students are able to be collected from the pickup area by an older sibling if we are informed prior to the day commencing. We will require the older sibling name and Home group.

Students can participate in multiple Golden Opportunity Days. We do not recommend repeating the same subject twice as often the materials may be similar.

No. When you complete the registration form, you will receive an email confirming registration. You will not receive any further information until one week out from the event. Please ensure you make note of the date of the event and what the event was called in case you have any enquiries.

Please email excellence@corindashs.eq.edu.au with your child's name and the name of the Golden Opportunity Day and date you believe you enrolled in. We will be in contact within 2 working days.

We close the links once it is a few days out from the event or when the event is full. We aim to list "sold out" on the website if the session is full. Registrations for all events close the Friday prior to the Golden Opportunity Day.

We provide students with a certificate of completion, which you can show your school as proof of attendance. We do not inform the school that your child is attending the high school for the day.
