Next month, a number of high-performing Corinda State High School students will be bestowed the great honour of taking part in the Creative Generation State Schools Onstage Showcase (CGEN).
This multi-million-dollar event is telecast nationally on Channel 10 and organised by the renowned Creative Directors of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
We hear the 2023 show is set to be the very best yet, and will feature our String performers Katie, Sarah, Toby, Karuna, Maisy, Lily, Lavanya, Eli, Lara and Anhita in the Massed String Orchestra.
Our amazing dancers Jessica, Ryan, Chanel, Ameya, Chanel and Madelyn will also be performing in both Featured and Specialty Dance acts.
In addition, our school's Drumline members Sinead, Amy, Tahu and Angus all made it into the Featured Drumline, which showcases the 16 best drummers in Queensland, with Madhav also joining them in the Massed Drumline Act which will open the show!
A huge congratulations to all the above students for both representing our school and being considered the best of the best in Queensland Arts. We look forward to sharing this stage spectacular with you on Thursday 13 July - Saturday 15 July.
