The QParents web and mobile app provides an easier way for you to interact with our school. Parents will have secure, online access to their child’s student information, anytime, anywhere, through a smartphone, tablet or computer. QParents allows parents to connect instantly with our school to access and manage their child’s student information, including:
- Report cards and assessment
- Timetables and class times
- View attendance records and report absences
- View invoices and make online payment
- complete online consent forms for excursions (new feature)
How do I register for QParents?
Parents will receive an invite to access QParents from the school which includes a unique invitation code to create an account. In addition, you will need to have documents to verify your identity and your child/children's EQID (Education Queensland identification number). The registration process is explained step by step in the QParent account registration instruction guide.pdf. Registration must be completed on a personal computer, not on a mobile device. Please ensure that you have all information ready as progress cannot be saved and retrieved at a later time.
Do we need to use QParents?
From mid Term 3, 2023 onwards, the QParents permission forms will be the primary consent form offered to parents. The current process where paper copies are sent home will be discontinued. We will be providing a support help desk during the Term 3 Parent Teacher Interviews for those families who require additional support setting up Qparents, or verifying their identity ahead of the transition to digital consent forms.

Online verification of identity
QParents uses the government portal to verify your identity with 100 points of identification documents. This process requires you to enter the document number into the website. It does not share the details of your identity documents with the school.
If you are unable or do not wish to verify your identity online, you can instead select the option "not enough ID" and finalise your registration without adding identity documents. You must then bring the documents to the school office where they will be sighted and your registration approved. We do not copy or record these documents. Families will be able to complete this process during Parent Teacher Interviews in Term 3 by approaching the help desk.
Have QParents set up already?
If you have been using QParents at another state school, you will need to complete the registration process for your child/children to access their Corinda State High School information. You will be asked during the registration process if you already have a QParents account and to enter these account details. Existing account holders are not required to meet the identification requirements a second time as they are just adding a student (and the student's new school) to the existing account.
Parents who have used QParents in the past to access Corinda State High School information but haven't used it recently can reinstall the app or login online. There is a forgotten password option to assist you if you cannot remember the password you used when setting the account up.
Additional students can be added within QParents and will be sent as a request to the school to verify. You will need to enter their EQID, Year level and the school.
