On Wendesday, our students had an exclusive glimpse into the world of healthcare with none other than Associate Professor Catherine McDougall, Acting Chief Health Officer for Queensland Health.

From the rising popularity of graduate entry pathways to work-life integration, Dr McDougall covered it all, sharing insights on workforce challenges, futureproofing the industry, and the importance of self-care during studies.
With a background in physiotherapy and orthopaedics, Dr McDougall brings a wealth of experience to the table. Her passion for public health and delivering top-notch patient care shined through in every word.
We hear she was also very impressed by the calibre of questions from senior students who were clearly very keen to make the most of this unique opportunity!
Our sincere thanks to Dr McDougall for such an enlightening Lunch & Learn session. Here's to empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
