The Year 12 Parent Dinner was a touching and memorable evening, celebrating the strong partnership between families and the school community throughout the secondary journey.
Guests were inspired by a moving speech from 2020 School Captain, Hannah Hall-Young, who shared her story of resilience and gratitude. Hannah spoke about the steadfast support of her family during high school and beyond, highlighting her journey of balancing work at BESIX Watpac with tertiary studies in construction management.
One of the evening's highlights was the traditional cake cutting, a special moment shared by graduate Meg Scott and her mother, Sarah, who holds the longest-standing connection to Corinda among all the attendees.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the P&C for expertly running the bar and to Queensland Spit Roast for providing the delicious catering that added to the evening’s enjoyment. This wonderful event was an opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to parents for their invaluable support, guidance, and encouragement throughout their student’s high school years.
